CAn any of you guys give me a solution as Comet can`t! My Mico Recorder which is sadly broken used to have the ability to record direct from Sky autoview, that is if you put a programme on autoview on Sky and set record quality then switched DVD recorder off when autoview programme started so did recording without messing about with any timer recordings etc, etc, has anyone else any info on this as trying to buy a recorder with same feature but no-one seems to know how it did it????
Thanks in advance

I use this feature on my Panasonic DMR E55 ,I think this model has now been replaced by another, but my mother -in -law has their latest DVD VCR combo and this has the same feature. They call it "external link" so I`m sure it must be standard across their range.
