can any1 recommend a widescreen tele, I would prefer 28 " but i ve only got upto £250 2 spend. any ideas?

Sounds like you need to take a mosey down to check out the range at Tescos.
Search the forums for occurrences of "bush" and "wharfedale" TVs, and I`d certainly expect you won`t get anything more than a 28" set - in fact, I don`t know the prices for those sets, but you might just end up buying 250 lottery tickets as your best chance of getting a decent widescreen TV...

Actually though, there are some nice smaller (eg24") widescreen sets that might fall into that budget if you shop around.
