If, on the Logix 3000, the multi-region is activated and the macro de-activated is it possable to record region one discs on to a pal video, if so is the quality good ?.

yes you can it is ok quality the same as region 2, the only small problem you have its the normal problem of outputting to pal 50 where you can get a very slight stuttering of the picture on slow panning shots because of the different frame rates 30 for ntsc and 25 for pal which you can notice on the original dvd and is transfered to tape
