Did you manage to find a website Bighun ? I was looking at this player too as it looks a bargain (nice looking little unit too !).
On a minor point - what is the background wallpaper like when you turn the unit on ? (My mate has an older Limit player and the only thing I dislike about it is the crappy blue and white "DVD Video" wallpaper !)

i did`nt find a website for the limit i phoned the techy boys at richer sounds and all they would say was that it made in china where 99% of dvds are made but they said it might be made by accoustic solutions a company i have never heard of also the background is still blue as for value for money it takes a lot of beating for the money so far it has played everything i have thrown at it rce dvds vcds mp3s cdr cdrw quality of build is good also only problem is macrovision it cant be switched of but i have got a macrobuster scart lead that works a treat

It sounds like the player may possibly be a copy of a Medion player like its predecessor which was sold at Richer Sounds. The only thing is that Im sure the Medion players were made in Germany, not China !
By the way - are you able to see the time elapsed / time remaining on a disc using the onscreen menus as the bloke in Richer Sounds told me that the LCD display on the front only shows the track number ?

My Dad has one, the lcd definately only show chapter no.
But it is a pretty good player, picture and sound are as good as some much more expensive brands, though i find the remote a little confusing (prob because my DVD player has a different layout on its remote).
No macrovision disable found yet. But i`m keeping looking.
RE: limit dvd 8080a macrovision disable
Hi bighun,
I`m new on here, and I`ve been searching for a cheap way to get around the Macrovision on my JVC XV522 DVD. What is this macrobuster scart lead you mentioned? Does it allow you to run the DVD through a VCR? I am trying to do this as my VCR audio is sent to an amplifier, and the video signal to my TV (obviously). All cables are run under the floor, so when I added my DVD, I wanted to connect it to the VCR using a scart to avoid running extra cables to the amp.
By the way, I have speaker stands badged Acoustic Solutions.
Any help would be appreciated,
Aaron.

yes the macrobuster is a 9 volt powered scart lead the end that is powered plugs into your dvd the other end into your vcr and start copying
it makes perfect copies of the dvd every time i hope this helps

Thanks bighun,
I searched for "macrobuster" but nothing came up - where do you get them? How much are they? I`m in the U.K. by the way. I`m not too worried about making copies, just want to be able to keep my existing interconnects which means running the DVD through the VCR.

Many thanks,
Any further info would be great - I`ve been searching the web and ringing shops, but all I could find was a video editor/processor thing for over 100quid. 29.99 sounds more like it.
Cheers,
Aaron.
