Picture Problem On Samsung LCD TV Poss Sky Related
I`ve just noticed that we are getting little red lines on the screen.
They are approx 3-5 mm long and randomly flash in any dark areas on the screen especially the black banners at the top and bottom.
Just wondered if anybody else has had them and what the cure was before reporting a fault on Monday.
Have only looked on Sky and through the aerial so far, tried turning off all the picture gizmos and setting Sky to low contrast but nothing has made a difference.
All the best
Gerald

RE: Picture Problem On Samsung LCD TV LE32R51BD
Just a quick update to those who read.
Have now played a DVD and the problem is not there so don`t think it is the TV, sigh of relief.
Maybe its the sky box, we do keep loosing the signal every now and again. And for some reason this morning we can`t watch any of the movie channels apart from 7 and 9. All the others are asking for our PIN number.
Phoned sky but they won`t talk to me as it is in Sarah`s name, bugger. :(
All the best

I`m in the market for a new LCD and like the look of the above. Would you recomend?
I`ve found it priced at £870 online with a promise of stock on Monday 12th and Delivery on Tuesday.

:( I have just replaced a Phillips 20" HDTV, LCD with a 27" Samsung because the picture kept fluctuating from bright to dark ( especially when watching cricket on Sky ). The engineer from Comet agreed that the picture was not right so I had no problem in replacing. However my Samsung is doing the exact thing but more noticeably when I play a DVD. It also has a blocky look in dark areas....anyone had the same problem?
