can anyone offer any help here????
ive recently bought an LG DR7400 DVD Recorder. I have recorded a movie from sky + but when i tried to watch it on my pc, it does not recognise the info on the disk and thinks the drive is empty, asks to insert a disk.
the media im using is maxell 1 - 4 x speed dvd rw.

Did you finalise the disc? If it is a once only +R disc it needs to be finalised to play on other machines, including PC drives.
I just noticed you said it was a +RW disc. Many drives and players can be quite choosy about playing re-writable discs like these.

Is the drive compatable with +DVD, some only work with -DVD disks. Also you may need to finalise the disk before it`ll play on another machine.
