Heya, I just bought a Yelo 800DVD from jungle.com and when i tried it out it didnt play most of my discs :( i emailed Kiira (Yelo in otherwords) and they told me it sounded like a lazer misalignment caused by careless handling during transit. So im getting it replaced. But! When i tried it out it did still manage to play an mp3 disc, and my alien ressurection region2 dvd, and it wasnt bad although during playback of alien ress`, wherever a "chapter mark" was, the movie would pause for a second. The unit looks quite good, the remote could have been alot better, but until i get the replacement i cant really help you much, but i will say that if the replacement plays all DVD`s i have without the pauses mentioned, or any other glitches, then it will indeed be a decent budget player.

Me again. Just to let you know that today the DVD player decided to work days before it`s replacement is meant to arrive :/
Ive been trying out all my movies on it and they all played without a hitch except for The Matrix (reg 2), which i have only made it play once! The Yelo800 seems to be reluctant to play it along with Terminator 2 Ultimate Edition region 1, but i had the matrix working once this morning so it isn`t impossible, and since the player wouldnt play hardly anything when i first set it up i hope the replacement will fix the terminator 2 problem. I bought an RGB scart lead today and on testing it out there wasn`t alot of difference between this and normal scart, close up to the screen its horrible but at a normal sitting distance its fine. Sound seems fine but then again i am using the VideoLogic DTS system speakers. I had to use a code to enter the Factory settings menu to enable all region mode :/ which kinda defeats the idea of "Multi Region out of the box" :/ but it saves this into memory so you only need to do this once! So far it`s a fine player for the price, only two dvd`s so far won`t play (yet).

Deffinetly can`t go wrong if you plan on using mainly region 2 dvd`s, i`ll let you know if the replacement fixes the matrix/terminator2 probs.
