Toshiba SD210 vs Sony DVPS300

I think i`ve narrowed my choice down to these 2 players, ASLONG as either of them can out put NTSC R1 discs at either PAL 50 or 60. I checked this morning and my TV can handle Pal 50, Pal 60 and SECAM but i havn`t a clue what SECAM is!! Well my problem is I that wherever i look on the net, i can`t find out what TV output format they do, i`ve heard that if u try play R1 discs on a multiregion Sony 300 player it can only output it in NTSC, so even though it is multiregion im still not going to be able to watch R1 DVD`s! Is this true? Can the toshiba player output NTSC at PAL50/60? Thats what i need to know before i go blow £200 on something that won`t output R1 discs correctly. Thanks very much in advance.

Neither player will do the NTSC -> PAL50/60 conversion.
The higher spec Toshibas do but so far as I can see the Sonys do not.
A good reference point to check is the manuals on the Techtronics site (http://www.techtronics.com/uk/shop/510-installation-menus.html)

Their top seller at the moment is the LG4710 which will do the NTSC -> PAL conversion as do most Panasonics, Pioneers for example.
