We cannot select Line 3 on the input select. This causes a problem as when we have a power cut (which happens almost daily here) the machine reverts to Line 1 when power returns and we have to go through the whole setup rigmarole to get back to Line 3. We have tried the official Sony website and although the question is listed in the FAQ`s there is no answer given. Does anyone else have the same problem and if so is there any way we can correct this, other than taking it into the repair shop? :/ Thanks!

Are you trying to connect a Sky box to Line 3 if so this might help?
I don`t know if its the same type of problem but when I set up my father in law`s Sony RDR GX300 when I connected his Sky Box to Line 3 I maded the mistake of selecting `Decoder` in the set up which caused me similar problems. I solved this by changing line 3 on the setup from `Decoder` to `VCR`.
