Does RGB Scart transmit sound?

if not then can anyone recommend the best way to hook up my sky+ box to my panasonic 32pd 50

A RGB only scart will do only RGB picture. For sound get a fully wired one. This will do all signals. Look for the QED P2110 in the usual places.

a fully wired scart should carry all the required AV connections.

a panny 32pd50 is quite possibly the best 32 inch widescreen crt!
