It all depends on which model of Mico you have.

The Mico A980 will work perfectly with with any region disc providing you set the country code to 13. Note RCE discs require specific region to be set.

HACK: 7,7,SELECT (with no disc in drive)

The Mico A980S has had reports of problem concerning auto-sensing multiregion but will still work with ALL known discs if the correct region is set.
I have found no problems with mine!

HACK: 7,7,ENTER (with no disc in drive)

Sorry, never tried R4. Let us Mico fans know if it works.

Region 4 vs Region 2 - depends on the disc.

Try this site for loads of R1 vs R4 disc comparisons, plus some mentions of R2
