How good is the ALBA 104? - Any Macrovision hacks?

After having many problems with my ALBA 103 (for example It didn`t really like Columbia Tristar Discs, esp. The Patriot, couldn`t watch it!) I took it back to where I bought it from, got my money back and bought the ALBA 104 having been told that it has eradicated all the problems the 103 had. I was quite impressed. Multi region capabilities. RCE friendly - honestly! Built in 5.1 decoder. Improved zoom function and to be honest i can`t fault it apart from the fact that it has Macrovision enabled.
Can anybody shoot this budget multregion player down I ask you?
