Wireless headphones

Bought a pair of Philips wireless headphones yesterday (can`t remember the model number) - when recharging the phones sit in a kind of semi-circular docking station thingey. The sound is generally quite good but I immediately noticed a constant hiss and crackle in the background during quieter moments on movie soundtracks. I`ve tried using different channels (there are 3) but there is still background noise. Any ideas what might be causing this? I`m thinking it could be down to the fact that the batteries were not properly charged when I first turned it on or is this interference the price you pay for wire-free "technology"?. If so, back they go

I haven`t tried wireless headphones, but I have had similar problems with combining other wireless devices which all operate on the same on 2.4GHz frequency e.g. AV sender, WiFi network, dect phones etc. It might be that you need to change the channel on of those devices rather than your headphones.
