Very old telly

xfg (Elite Donator) posted this on Thursday, 14th April 2005, 19:48

We`ve got a neighbour who we want to lend our spare DVD player to for a little while - but her telly is ancient (though *massive*) and only has an aerial socket.

She doesn`t have a VCR we can try and run it through on AV, so is there any way of hooking up the player?

Hi, the only way if there is no av input on the telly at all is to buy a Modulator unit from Maplins code VH89W £29.99 or maybe cheaper elsewhere and it will convert the signal so you can plug it in to your normal aerial socket.

:( too expensive just for a few watches... £10 would have been OK.

She`ll just have to come round here and watch! :D
