Page 1 of pana e55 scart setup

hiya all

ive got a pana tv x2 sockets
pana dvdr e55 x2 sockets
hyundai dvd player x2 sockets
sky x2 sockets

can any 1 suggest best way to setup scarts ( my scart leads r fully 21 pin ) also got macrovision removel scart lead from www.sonel.com ..

what im askin is wats best way to setup all scarts so that i can watch tv/sky while backing up my dvds

ps all equipment is setup to rgb

is it not Sky TV scart to DVD player in, DVD player out to E55 in, E55 out to TV with a seperate scart directly from Sky to TV, normally the SKy signal would loop through the DVD player and E55, if you choose to play a DVD that should override and be input to the E55 when you would then switch the TV to watch Sky via the other scart, guess the Sonel scart would be between DVD player and E55

(on paper it looks right, in practice it may not be!)

sorry made a mistake ive only got 1 socket on dvd player


pana tv x2 sockets
pana dvdr x2 sockets
hyundai dvd player x1 socket
sky x2 sockets

so setup should look like this :::

sky tv - tv av1
dvd player - e55 in
e55 out - tv av2


macro lead is from dvd player - e55 in


ive got x3 fully 21 pin scarts
1x macrovision removel scart

you won`t be able to record from Sky with it setup like you say though
