Targa DR-5100x UHF output channel??

Green-Grumble (Harmless) posted this on Monday, 24th January 2005, 23:54

:/ The Targa Manual implies that the UHF output is either Ch-36 or Ch-38 in the UK, But when I asked the Targa people how to change the UHF output so that it didn`t clash with our local transmitter they said it can`t be done.
Surely it is adjustable ! !

Hi mate... I also have the Targa although I don`t output UHF.... everything is done through scarts.

However I would keep on at Targa... if you look on their support pages there are some firmware updates (though not for the UK recorders) maybe a firmware update could change the bandings in the UK too?.... I`m surprised it cannot be changed.

In the manual of DHV-5100x is a way of adjusting that. However it is possible it does not work on your recorder, it is worth to try it.

They say it should be done like this:
Empty DVD tray
press program up or program down on the frontpanel for more then 4 seconds.
This should give you the possibility to change the channel (or even turn it off)

better look in the manual (downloadable from targa website)

Hope that works
