Purchased this player/recorder just before Christmas. Just noted that there are audio lip sync problem when recording to DVD, this is only apparent once you get at least half an hour into the recording. The unit was manaufatured during November 2004 and came with firware version 191. I contacted Liteon by email who advised me to update the firmware to the latest which now happens to be 193.
Carried out upgrade this morning by burning firmware to cd and then carrying out upgrade on recorder. Firmware update completed satifactorily where I was told to power the unit down and then restart, only problem is I cannot eject the cd from the drive. Everything else on the recorder seems to work fine I just cant get the disc out.

Has anyone else come across this and have any tips on ejecting a stubborn disc, the draw front does not have a pin hole for manual ejection like all the other Liteo Cd and DVD drives.
I have emailed Liteon again but I guess they are going to tell me to return it to the retailer, so SVP be prepared.

Have you tried `old faithful` - pull the plug out of the wall, wait 10 seconds and plug it back in?
