Page 1 of Stupid me set my DMR-E50 to "remote control 2"

I played around with my Panasonic DMR-E50 dvdrecorder, and managed to set the remote control setting to "remote control 2". Now i cant set it back because i cant enter the settings, because.. the remote control doesnt work anymore. Stupid me..

Basicly i cant do anything with it anymore..
Does any1 have any clues how to solve this problem?

At a guess you have to set both Remote & DVD seperatly, if so just do the remote only.

What do you mean by that. "set the remote & dvd seperatly"?

oddly enough i seem to have done the same thing :/ whenever i press a button on the remote the dmr-e30 just displays DVD REMOTE 1 it must be something either i or my son`s pressed, but for the life of me i can`t get it back to normal :( & i can`t find the manual >:(

any help would be ace :D

From Manual

Switch DVD/TV to DVD.

Press `Enter` & the `nurmeric` buttons correspondingto the code you want to set. (1) (2) or (3)

:( doesn`t seem to have any effect :(

Assuming it`s the same as the E55 - To change the remote back to 1...While pressing the Enter button on the remote, hold the 1 button down for 3 seconds. Since I have 2 Pannys, I use type 3 all the time. If you want to go back to type 2....Hold the enter button down and the 2 button down.
