Page 1 of Durabrand 1000 - Anyone know where to get one ?

Asda had loads of these super-compact DVD players prior to christmas.
Now their shelves are empty and it`s like they didn`t exist !
Their staff just come out with the usual "dunno" rubbish...
I`ve seen a couple on e-bay but would like a new one,from a reputable source !

I asked in our Asda the week before Xmas when ours were all sold out. I was told they were getting more in February.

Yeah,Asda`s customer services e-mailed me the same info.
February`s little consolation when the missus wants to watch one of her godawful DVD`s in bed coz I`m watching the football now though...
She only wants that one as it is incredible compact.
She doesn`t give a stuff about performance/quality.
All the same to her.

How about a Compacks DVD800 then, we have one of those too (got it for in the car mainly), and they`re quite small (not as small as the Durabrand though, that`s new PS2 size...lol). I saw plenty of the Compacks in Big W when we were in the other day (also sold in Woolies).

Cheers Mark,but I got a Durabrand off e-bay for less than I`d have paid at Asda.
The seller ( honest Dave from Honestville,Straightupshire ) says it`s new.
Time will tell.
