Page 1 of L V W - 5 0 0 5 : Clock problem

just bought a LVW5005 dvd recorder

I am able to change the date and time in <setup>. The new time is displayed on the machine` clock and the two dots [:] between the `hr` and `min` flash. However, the time does not change ie remains on the initial set time. Therefore, I am not able to use the `timer record` function.

Do you have any advice or help??
