When playing discs the sound is reduced on the M5 compared to the TV volume. I just have a TV and DVD at present. Is the player at fault?

I`m presuming this is your first DVD All DVD players seem "quieter" than the TV or VHS. They are designed this way - it`s all to do with the huge dynamic range DVD has. I haven`t seen the new Wharfedale but I`m presuming this is what is happening. Hope this is helpful
