Have just bought a Panasonic DMR-E55EB. Using with DVD-RAM disc. Why when I have deleted recordings does that not free up disc space? Hopefully there is a simple answer. This novice would be grateful!

It should, using the erase function. Unless the disc is protected.

Hi
Are you usinf DVD-RAM or DVD-R? My understanding is that the space is only freed up if you are using DVD-RAM discs.
