I have the 5100,which is the same model +HDD.I have never had problems,and cannot recall reading any threads of problems on this model. Are you having problems with yours,or are you looking for info on a potential purchase.If its the latter,leave it now as this model is out of date and there are better models around now.

Hi Phelings,
I`ve already got one, the problem is its skipping on most of my re-recordable discs. I using Packard Bell & TDK. Do you think it could be the disc what do you use in your machine.

As I have the HDD model I rarely use -RW,but when I do they are Verbatim or TDK.Have you got other brands that don`t skip?Does it skip on -R?Do the -RW play ok on other players?
