Okay it`s an issue that is really doing my nut in... I spent £180 on this DVD player and well recently I bought Buffy S1 and The Haunting to watch n admire but on Disc 1 of Buffy and on The Haunting Disc I cannae seem to get rid of the damn Subtitles... I usually press the subtitle button on my DVD remote to turn them of but with these discs it seems impossible to get rid of the subtitles... Even if I try turning them off through the Special Features menu.
Someone help me... I am desperate!!!

It`s a problem that seems to happen with certain discs on the Bush 2004. Same thing happens with Mission: Impossible 2! If you can`t get rid of it then there`s nothing else you can do! By the sound of it you`ve tried everything you can.

mission impossible 2 works fine on my dvd2004 the only discs i have had subtitle problems with have been titan a.e. and deep impact. however it is possible to turn the subs off in titan a.e. by going to one of the featurettes and turning them off in there. then when i play the movie they are off. perhaps this is also the case with some other discs.
