VHS Tapes onto DVD+rs

Is there a way to record from a VHS tape onto a Standalone DVD (not a PC one). That has copywrite on it. In richersounds, they said having macrodisable would make no diference. If so, is there a site that shows how to make a device that sits betweem the VHS and DVD recorder. Thanks in advance

The people here can transfer VHS tapes to DVD for £10 if you can`t do it yourself.

Doubt they`d do anything that has copyright protection on it though, they could open themselves up to a whole heap of trouble doing it
