How do I connect CA DVD55RWi to record with telewest
Hi,
I have bought a CA DVD55RWi but am struggling to get it setup right.
I have a TV with two scart inputs on the back.
I have a Telewest pace digibox with two scarts - one labelled VCR and one labelled TV.
What should be the correct setup? It seems to me there should be two scart inputs on the back of the CA so i can go digibox to dvdr and then dvdr to tv.
I only have scart cables - do i need to buy any composite cables?
Would appreciate some advice,
Cheers

RE: How do I connect CA DVD55RWi to record with telewest
Hi Zizih
You should simply connect the SCART connection of your "CA" to the VCR connection on the digibox. The TV connection on the digibox should go to the TV, of course. You don`t need another connection from the CA to the TV.
This is because the connection from CA to digibox is bi-directional. When you play a DVD it will switch the digibox to display the DVD output instead of a TV channel. When you wish to record from digibox to DVD, the CA will take the television picture from your digibox.
So you will in fact use the same setup as you would for a VCR.
Hope this helps . . .
