Ixos (the Scart
people) have an
excellent battery operated DVD cleaner for
about £25.As far
as lens cleaners
go, you could try TDK.Most lens cleaners now have sound
system diagnostic checks built in.
Best of luck!

Hi!
Recently my DVD Player had started making a grinding noise and refused to play DVD`s- I thought the lens had gone, but I thought I should try a lens cleaner first. I shopped around in some of the electrical shops (such as Curry`s & Dixons) and the average price for a lens cleaner was about £15. I ended up buying a lens cleaner from Wilkinsons for £4.99. It is made by a company called Maxview and seems to be working fine, as my DVD player started working again! :) It is sold as a disc in a DVD case and also includes tests to test audio and visual aspects of your DVD player.
For a DVD cleaner I can recommend a DVD/CD Retorer Polish & Cloth made by a company called "Bib" - It comes endorsed by What-HiFi (Not that I read it :) *Yawn*) but I can`t tell you where it was bought from or how much it cost, as it was "borrowed" from my dad many moons ago...;)
Hope it helps....
