Which dvd recorders can record from an rgb signal?
Please help. I recently bought a bush dvd recorder from argos and I discovered when I connected my freeview box to the scart input it would only record an analogue picture. I went through all of the settings but still it would not record in rgb. I was lucky to get a refund from argos but I am unsure what dvd recorder to get in its place. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

The Philips and Panasonic recorders can accept RGB. Those are the only ones I know of.

I have a Panasonic E50 and E55.
Both can accept RGB in.
I initially had both set up so that they were accepting an analogue (video) signal, but changed both to RGB.
You lose the direct-link function (automatic recording using your SKY guide) but the difference in picture when using RGB is worth losing that function, and using the good old fashioned timer function instead, for.
One thing I noticed immediately is I don`t have as many playback aspect ratio issues using the RGB in mode.Gowd knows why.
I used to have to manually change the TV`s aspect ratio all the time during playback, but since switching to RGB the recordings playback in the correct aspect ratio no probs. :)
