On dvd which player gives the best picture. looking at :- panasonic E55or E85 toshiba DM 1 pioneer 3100 5100 :/ :/ any help. :/

Having used all the existing dvdr formats,I can tell you that there is nothing in it when it comes to actual recorded picture quality.In the top 2 levels,you will find it very difficult to tell a recording from a live picture
