Page 1 of E55 - is it possible to get around the macrovison on this machine? Can the E55 play RCE discs?

The retailer says he can make the machine region free. However I would like to back up my dvd and vhs collection. Therefore I wish to be able to back up material that is macrovison coded.

Of course you can.
You can buy any of the macrovison-busting products available on the market.
They would all be installed somewhere in-line between the DVD from which you are recording and the recorder itself.
Type "macrovision" into your search engine and behold the myriad of gadgets !

Do you know of a reliable make?
