Can anyone tell what CD writing software they use to burn upgrade firmware?

I have been told not to use Nero.

As anyone else been told this.

I just used Nero 5.0.3.8 and a CD-RW to upgrade to V2.23.

Follow the instructions in the FAQ and you`ll be fine. Who told you not to use Nero?

I`m confused!!!!

I used Nero 5.0.3.8 and a CD-RW. No Multi-session, ISO Level 2, Mode 2XA, DOS character set, everything else off on this screen. I wrote as disc at once (ie close disc).

Search the forum if you want to try something else. Other people use Easy CD and WinOnCD.

I use CDRWIN 3.8c on CD-RW - file & backup tools, `retain full paths` set false. Finalise/Close Session & write leadout track enabled. CDROM Mode 1.

I use prassi -no probs ever.
