I read that these two player are the same device, I have some problems with my Grundig so I would know if someone who has Scan could help me. I looked at my firmware version and I have MAIN VER 00000202, do you know if is it useful to upgrade the firmware? I found a file for Grundig on hdubois.free.fr/grundig named firmware 165 (mo macrovision) it is better? Can I use all scan firmware? or there is some difference? Thank you

beware you must use the firmware for the good chipset if you have ADV chipset then you must use the firmware for that chipset and if you have the CS4955 chipset then you must use the firmware for that chipset. Actually I know all grundig are made of ADV chipset so you can use all the scan firmware on it.
