Scan SC-2000 and Se7en (Seven re-release)

I have a scan SC-2000 and I have firmware version 1.50. Is there any way that I can upgrade the firmware at all?

I have just bought seven and it won`t play properly, the menus are all screwed up :(. I was hopeing that a firmware update would fix this, like it did for the Disney problems, but my dvd won`t update like normal!
Of course I only found this out AFTER I had wasted a blank cd on a 500k file!

Can anyone help?

contact scan and get them to sort your player out. there is no easy way to update the firmware on old players unless you have a eprom blower.

Jake only machines shipped with v.164 and higher can be upgraded unfortunately.Although if you email yellen[at]ku.oc.nacs there is a very goodchance he will arrange a drop and pick on your machine and have it replaced with a latest batch machine(2.06).

In my experience nelley is very cooperative and i would expect him to sort it out quite quickly.

Hope this helps
