Dont know, about codes, but the guy above should take a lesson in manners, considering its you first post, if he pointed out that by having typed caps you are appearing to be shouting a question rather than asking would have been more respectful. I did think it was a learning remote though.


A WISE MAN ONCE SAID

I have a feeling the codes etc will be the same as for the MD4689, so here goes:

Programming a code in:
Hold SET for 3 seconds until LED lights continually, then release SET key.
Press mode key for the item to be controlled (TV, SAT, etc).
Enter the 3 digit code.
If entered correctly, LED turns off. Otherwise, it flashes for 3 seconds.

Auto Search
Switch on the appliance to control.
Hold SET for 3 seconds until LED lights continually, then release SET key.
Press mode key for the item to be controlled (TV, SAT, etc).
Point remote at item to be controlled, and press the CHAN + key. Remote sends a signal to the device every second. Each time one is sent, the LED goes on.
As soon as the device reacts, press the OK button.
If you didn`t press OK in time, use CHAN - to step backwards.

Brand Name search
Switch on the appliance to control.
Hold SET for 3 seconds until LED lights continually, then release SET key.
Press mode key for the item to be controlled (TV, SAT, etc).
Enter the one digit code from the brand name table.
Press repeatedly POWER or CHAN + or PLAY until the device reacts normally. Proceed quickly to avoid launching the auto search.
Briefly press OK to store the code.

I can`t see mention of SKY + in the code book listings, but here`s the brand code for SAT.


1 - Medion, Lifetec, Micromaxx, Microstar, Innovaation, Galaxis
2 - Philips, Philco
3 - Pace, Echostar
4 - Thomson, Universum, Brandt
5 - Telefunken, Saba, Normende, Ferguson
6 - Grundig
7 - Nokia, Finlux, ITT, Hirschmann

I`m in australia. I have a similar remote (Possibly the same)to the ones you blokes are talking about and i can`t find the instructions. I got it from an ALDi store as some of you blokes seemed to. I noticed that RichardH posted some instructions. I am wondering if anyone has the learn function instructions as i seem to have a weird Satellite tv box and i have only programmed some functions. i also need to program some other appliances.
