surround speakers - best brackets?

Lizard (Mostly Harmless) posted this on Sunday, 25th January 2004, 20:11

Just bought my first home cinema system and ive now got 4 speakers that need fitting to each corner of my room. Can anyone recommend some brackets for them and where to get them from? Ive got the sony DAVSA30 which only has small cube like speakers. Im not sure whether stands are a good idea because the door of the room will probably end whacking it each time it is opened!

Cheers

Where`s Westy when you need him? To entertain Lizard whilst we await him, I shall proceed to sing and dance...

...happy?

Providing you`re not a tight git, buy the `proper` Sony stands/brackets.

They are more expensive, but are quality items and provide neat cable management. They come with some adapters to suit all of Sonys` surround speaker variations.

I have Sony stands for the front pair (either side of tv) and Sony brackets for the rears.
