Thanks for the excellent information site you have provided for scan player owners..

Do you have any major problems with your player at the moment ?

I purchased my scan in November last year.. Have upgraded the firmware
lots... I posted my collection of firmware to herbis dubios site..(A french gentlemans DVD web page)

So I assume most of the firmware he has, except 2.14, is the firmware I email him.. all of which ran fine on my machine. (i.e. didnt see exploding transistors flying across the room)

Thanks DaveyG. I think I`ve cleared up the blockyness using v1.80 twice and then v2.14.

The only prob I have at the moment is the bright colour streaking. Not sure if it is the DVD or the TV. It`s really noticeable when hooked up via SCART(RGB). The white colours blur to the right slightly and into the dark images. When watching things with space scenes or night sky the stars streak almost 3cm across the screen.

I`m still trying things to get rid of it.

My only other prob was when one of my machines died when doing an upgrade (v1.87 to v2.04s) but I got a drop and pick sorted straight away.
