Page 1 of 16mm projector film into DVDs?

Hello Everyone,

I know this is a long shot, but is it at all possible to convert 16mm projector film into DVDs? The film is on reels similar to at the movie cinemas. If possible, how would one go about it.

Easiest way but expensive is to send the film to one of the people who convert films to DVD. Second is to buy/hire a telecine converter, you aim the projector at the telecine converter & a camcorder at the other side, this can be put onto tape & onto a computer or directly onto a computer then burnt onto a DVD. Lastly through the telecine converter to a camera to a DVD Recorder. all done very easily & quickly. I have projected onto a white screen & pointed the camcorder at the screen & got quite good results.
