I have recently bought a Lecson 900. I also got The Matrix and The 6th Sense with it.
Problem - Every few seconds I am getting brightness / contrast changes on the TV while playing these films. The instructions are useless. Any suggestions ? I am connected via scart leads through the video etc etc.

You`ve got those problems because you`ve got the DVD connected via your video and macrovision has kicked in.
Try connecting your Lecson direct to your TV that should be ok.
The Matrix plays fine on my Lecson.

Cheers. I assume that I just bypass the video with the scart lead ? I`ll give it a go and report back.

Further update. I have bypassed the video and the problem continues.
The issue I have is that on 6th Sense and The Matrix I am experiencing brightness changes approx. every 10 seconds.
I am using a Toshiba TV (PAL) and the Lecson is set to either Auto or PAL.
