Page 1 of I need a new player

I want to buy a new dvd , preferably one that can play vcd,cdr mp3`s and can be region hacked quite easily

anyone got any ideas????

i just brought the encore450 from gamestation at £150:00
hacks for region free,macro disable etc & plays mp3
it`s got onboard decoder and component video out.

I bought a himage 2290 from richer sounds in norwich for £110 it plays mp3 vcd svcd is multi region and macrovision free straight out of the box. its very small 26cm x 26cm. it even lets you play tetris or orthello while watching a film.The matrix works fine.
