Page 1 of Alba 114....me thinks ive mucked up!!!

Hi all,

Ive just got a Alba 114 it wasnt multi region out of the box unfortunately and there were severe problems with macrovision, so checking thru previous threads i got the firmware update and booted my player, after folowing all the instructions carefully i thought i had fixed all the problems, but all the player does now is sit with a little green light on(as if it were switched on) but its actually doing nothing. Ive tried several times unplugging from the mains and leaving for a while before restarting with no joy!!!

Has anybody got any ideas as to what i can do? as my dvd player plays nothing now and i cant even switch it on/off anymore!!!

Looks like you`ve fecked the firmware.. best bet is to take it back to the shop and say nothing about messing with it.. just tell them its brokem down and could you have a replacement. Act innocent :-))
