Anyone else got this machine and having speaker problems? No matter how i setup the speakers i still get no sound from the subwoofer I guess i must be doing something wrong! Anyone got any tips? Cheers

Got the same DVD player, connected to a Yamaha AV with a set of 5 speaker acquired last week, works fine. Stupid question have you switched on your sub-woofer, mine has got a switch at the back (Model Eltax).

Are the Phono leads ok ? try swapping the sub one for another known working one or pull the dvd end out with the sub switched on and touch the end of the phono plug and you should hear a buzz from the sub if all is ok with the lead.
