I have experienced prolems with my Alba DVD 103 with its inability to play The Patriot and am considering upgrading to the Alba 104 . I cannot find any reviews on this model . Can any one give any advice please

You took the words right out of my mouth, i`ve just returned one to Asda and they claim that they are not getting anymore Alba DVDs til April

I also had problems with the Alba 103 and am now considering buying the 104. Do you know whether it`s also a multi-region player, able to play the Patriot et al? Also, if the problems with freezing on certain films have been ironed out?

The alba 104 is region 1 out of the box and can also play RCE discs without having to carry out any hack ,it also plays cdr`s,cdrw`s,vcds,svcds, i know this as i have one and it has done all this, oh yes it also plays the reg1 2 disc version of dinosaur without the lock up when they exit the cave not bad for 150 squid
