I am looking for a DVD palyer that has DTS & Optical connectivity. Also plays vcd, savd, & mp3. I also want multi-region (or hackable). Budget - up to £150.00. Can anyone advise the best player to gor for? Many thanks.
RE: Best Budget DVD Player
budget ?
You can pick up a player from Asda which will do all that for about a 1/3 of your budget....
If you actually want to spend that much on the player I am not so sure :/ maybe the Kiss player....

Skippydoink.
Nice one - and nice site. Many thanx.
Toshiba SD330E, all the way.
Rock solid build, attractive, and all the connectivity you could desire in this price range. Plays absolutely every single format you can think of.
Half decent as a budget CD player too.
£85 at Digitalpoint, and was only £80 at Amazon recently too.

RE: Best Budget DVD Player
Thanx for this.
I`m torn between the Samsung E234 £79.99 from www.tesco.co.uk & hackable thru the handset OR the Toshiba SD330. Any views as to which is best?
