Page 1 of Video Senders ???
Hardware Forum
hi bargain hunters,
any one recommend a video sender.
I wanna use it so I can watch digi box on TV upstairs. It should also allow remote to be used upstairs.
Anyone own one of these, and do they really work??
Thanks in anticipation.

RE: Video Senders ???
Myself and many other retailer do the Holdan TR2450 that would seem to fit your needs at around £70. It`s the same spek as the Philips one at about £130.
Mods, If I am breaking any rules please remove.
All the best,
The 42%er.
TOYS R US sell Medion for £ 49.99 which will also operate remote commands for up to 3 appliances.
It doesn`t come with the universal remote, so you will have to use the existing remotes or purchase an universal remote.
42 %er...

RE: Video Senders ???
I own a A/V-Hi-Fi shop and the forum rules clearly state that I am not aloud to advertise myself. Thus no links, phone numbers or shop name.
The advice I give is not intended to get sales for Sevenoaks Sound And Vision Leicester;-) I just like it here and it`s nice to helpout if I can. If I do break any rules I am quite happy for the mods let me know and I will put right the infringment.
All the best,

i went down to makro and found the video sender that they are selling at the mo.
i knew it was a make that began with "T" - and it was..... Thompson.

RE: Video Senders ???
Couple of quick questions for you:
how many devices can you plug into the Thomson sender? I`d like to plug DVD, Sky, video and terrestrial in and then choose between them remotely - is this doable?
secondly, do you have to be a business to join Makro or will they let an ordinary man in the street like me join? I know that to use their website you have to give them a VAT registration, copies of invoices etc.
hi derek
what i`ve done is, cuase all inputs go in to my video [dvd, digi box] and then from video into tv i`ve pluged the input to the tv into the transmitter. This way i can use the remote of the video upstairs and change the input from either dvd or digibox or just use the main aeriel for better reception.
as for joining makro, i think i`ve heard on this forum u can get a 1 day pass. but i got a card through work.
i don`t think you need vat reciepts to use the web site.
when it asks for the first number of your account just enter......3 then you should be able to see the makro special offers at the moment.
