My brother`s got a mitsubishi 4:3 normal square tv and has had it over 10 years still working fine . This came out around the same time as the jvc 3d phonic sets but they never advertised the product the way that jvc did .

looks abit dated these day`s but when he first got the tv it looked the business . Has a cool swivel action where you can turn the tv around using the remote control . Never seen another tv do this .

Although I have both a 3/4 yr old Mitsubishi 29" 4:3 and a newer BD30 DVD player, both of which I have no complaints about, I could not recommend Mitsubishi as I understand they no longer exist and parts may become impossible to aquire. http://www.dvd.reviewer.co.uk/forums/thread.asp?Forum=211&Thread=171348 gives more details.

For the same sort of money Asda sell a Schnieder 32inch and a Sharp 32" at about £ 50.00 more, both with a no quibble 3 year guarantee.

P.S. Now relegated to spare but still in perfect condition with an excellent picture, I still have a 14" Mitsubishi colour set which I bought in 1978 ( the main reason I bought Mitsubishi again ) ;-)
