Bomber57 (Harmless) posted this on Sunday, 7th January 2001, 20:43

Can anyone help me I have tried both connections and this is what I make of them. 1.S-vid picture sharp and colours very very bright looks good. 2.RGB Scart very clear sharp image but colours seem a lot lighter than s-vid and washed out.

So can you please help me decided which is best.My TV is a Toshiba 28W93B which happens to be best budget buy TV,Iam pretty sure it carries RGB also iam using a good quality scart lead. Can anyone help, JIMBO you there?

Yeah, try your "Picture modes" button, and try setting the colour to your preference.

However, the picture is in the eye of the beholder, simple answer is that if you prefer Svideo, then use Svideo!!

Have to say that I do agree with you though..RGB is supposed to be better, but my eyes favour Svid..pity my crap telly doesn`t have S capability!

AIWA 370 (officially) ROCKS!!!!!

Man, do want us to hold your hand while you decide!!!
Dude the best is whichever YOU prefer. You`ll be the fool watching it. So you make up your own mind! Just by reading the first two lines of your post it seems that you prefer s-video so go with that. It`s like you`re asking for confirmation - well your certificate is in the post mate!

Gee this is getting sillier and sillier! I wonder how they are even able to use a computer to write these posts! ;-)
