Page 1 of Shadow on Sony DVP-NS305

I have a Sony DVP NS305 DVD Player connected via scart to a Philips 14PT2666 14" TV. The video also runs off scart so the two leads are connected into a two-into-one scart box and then to the TV.

When I watch a DVD or have the Sony main screen on I am getting a shadow - like a different TV station behind it. This doesn`t seem to be Channels 1 to 5, and varies between numbers floating across my screen to peoples outlines.

If I watch a video and fast forward it I can hear faint talking in the background.

Any ideas ?

Sounds (and looks) like you need to invest in a better SCART - most leads that come supplied with equipment are pants. Get yourself a fully shielded SCART and it`ll stop the background interference.

Sounds like a trip to the shops coming up. Are gold scarts the best ?
