thinking of getting one of these fron powerhouse , like 1030 but pal/ntsc and dts compatable as well, all for 69.99 , any one know if this plays vcd and can be made multi region any help greatly appreciated Ta in anticipation lisa

VCD = yes Multiregion = with a remote hack.
It plays everything as far as I know, and if you have a search on the forums you`ll find a hack for it, easily done through the manual.

Ta very much which forums ?couln`t find a hack , hence yell for help, sorry to be a div but can do what through manual ?

My apologies, couldn`t actually find anything at all on the 2030. Here`s the hack for the 1030 (are you sure that`s not the one you`re talking about?), I found this in the Region Hacks Forum on this site:-
"It can be made multi-regional... Switch on with empty tray. Press MENU then 1 6 7 A menu will appear to allow selection of region (1-6) Select required region, or for ALL REGION press 0"
