Philips dvd recorder region code question.

I have a philips dvdr880 which is currently set to region 2. Will this region code be imprinted onto any discs i record or will they be region free?

Hi,

All DVD+R / RW recordings will be made region free.

It will not copy the region coding and it will not copy the 5.1 soundtrack as this would require more expensive circuitry in the machine.
