Page 1 of Cyberhome AD-N-212 Picture sticking problems- Help!!!

I have just unpacked my cyberhome player bought from WH Smiths, connected it up via my video recorder (I have no Scart socket on my TV) and I have tried out my 3 DVDs, Men Behaving Badly series 3, Educating Rita and Enter the Dragon (all Region 2). The picture keeps sticking and sound cuts out, I`m talking freezes of up to 8 or 9 seconds, it happened 8 times in one period of Educating Rita, all of the DVDs act in the same way, is there something I need to set up on it, it can`t be the DVDs they are all brand new and completely different. I`m gutted to say the least.
It surely cannot be layer changing, not that often and starting only minutes into the disc. Please help someone, has anyone else had this problem with there cyberhome, Will I have to take it back or is it me?

Sounds like you`ve got a dud. Take it back. Mine has never had this problem, and I`ve tried loads of R1 and R2 discs on it.

Thanks, I`m already retrieving the receipt, My friend who works at the particular branch has told me 3 other machines have been returned with the same problem, It must be a dodgy batch. Just my luck as soon as I hit those sales.
